GAIL A. CYR

Gail Atkinson Cyr, 48, 2141 Tram Road, Mount Olive, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 15, at Vidant Pitt Hospital.
A cosmetologist, she was daughter of Eva Mott Atkinson Rogers of Mount Olive and the late Dawsey Troy Atkinson.
Along with her mother, Gail is survived by her husband, Danny Cyr of the home; a son, Christopher Wayne Paschal of New York; four grandchildren; a brother, James William Atkinson of Sneads Ferry; and two sisters, Brenda Kay Byrd of Sneads Ferry and Eva Ann Underwood of Newton Grove.
A service of remembrance will be held at Rones Chapel United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Mike Whatley, at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, with visitation to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions toward final expenses may be made to Tyndall Funeral Home.
