ROMMIE J. BEASLEY

Rommie Jennings Beasley, 67, Seven Springs area resident, United States Army veteran and a retired dry wall installer, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Preceded in death by his wife, Geralleen Grady Beasley; his parents, Jennings Elmer and Carrie Lois Brock Beasley; and a sister, Nina Key; Mr. Beasley is survived by three daughters, Cindy Maready and Sharon Beasley both of Seven Springs, and Rhonda McLamb and husband, Clarence, of Virginia; five grandchildren, Amanda Hall, Candace Hall, Krystal Fletcher and husband, Kevin, Joshua McLamb and Sara Beasley; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry E. Beasley of Hampstead; four sisters, Lois Ann Thornton of Garner, Carrie Elizabeth Bunn of Dudley, Ellen Louise King of Smithfield and Betty Lou Johnson of Hampstead; and several nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be Saturday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, officiated by the Rev. A. G. Smith, with visitation afterward.
