Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, William H. Blount Jr., Cheltenham, Md., died.
He was the devoted husband of Mary Jo Blount and beloved son of Margaret Williams and Letha Blount.
He is also survived by four daughters, Angela Johnson, Glenda Gaither, Marie Overton and Aretha Pryor; a sister; a brother/uncle; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Faith Temple No. 2, 211 Maryland Park Drive, Capitol Heights, Md., 20743, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m.
Interment Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, Md., at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Dillard Alumni class of 1965 scholarship committee.
