Bishop Curtis Lee Melton, 77, of 163 Black Jack Road died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be today at noon at Greater Morning Star United Holy Church, 705 S. Sycamore Street, Fremont.
A wake was held Saturday at Stevens Funeral Home in Wilson, which is handling the arrangements.
