Mr. Curtis Caldwell Meningall Jr., 82, 1306 S. Slocumb St., passed Sunday, June 8, 2014.
Funeral will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, N.C., with the Rev. Joe A. Jackson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, U.S. 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, N.C., with military honors.
He was born July 17, 1931, in Davidson County (Lexington), N.C., to Curtis Caldwell and Jessie Mitchell Meningall Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Foskey Meningall; his daughter, Deanne Estelle Meningall; his son, Seth Thomas (Jennifer) Meningall, his aunt, Elizabeth R. Evans; and a host of other relatives and friends.
