MITCHELL JAY HARDISON

May 12, 1982-March 26, 2014

Mitchell Jay Hardison, 31, Goldsboro, passed away suddenly Wednesday at his home.

A service to celebrate and honor Mitch's life will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at The Bridge Church with, his father, pastor Ferrell Hardison, officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service Monday evening at the church.

Mitch was born in Wayne County May 12, 1982, to Ferrell and Millie Daw Hardison.

He was a member of The Bridge Church in Princeton.

Mitch was full of life, and had a one of a kind personality that you immediately endeared you to him.

Mitch will be remembered for his love of videography and primarily for making videos for local churches and non-profit organizations.

He was an avid North Carolina State fan, and enjoyed playing disc golf.

Mitch enjoyed his recent mission trips to Kentucky and Jamaica, and will be fondly remembered for his love of children.

In addition to his parents, Mitch is survived by his brother, Brandon Hardison and fianceé, Amy Chan, of Eden; grandparents, the Rev. Willard and Shirley Hardison of Goldsboro; the Hardison family, Chuck and Deborah of Pine Level, and their children, Spencer and Caroline, and Hal and Sharon of Moore S.C., and their son, Zach; and the Daw family, Rayburn and Margie Daw and their children, Gary Mooring and Brent Mooring, Lou Ella Daw and her children, Sherry Daw, Lori Garcia and Clark Daw, Connie and Jimmy Gurganus and their children, Marty and Todd Gurganus, Noah and Sara Daw and their children, Troy Daw, Rodney Daw and Angie Daw, and Dealnor and Sandra Daw and their children, Wendy Flowers, and Paul Daw.

Mitch was preceded in death by his grandparents, N.J. Daw and Viola Daw, and his uncle Alton Daw.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Hope Center Ministries, P.O. Box 906, Waverly, Tenn., 37185.
