Dixie Quinn, 90, 136 Bruit St., passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Dixie was preceded in death by children, Barbara Quinn Tart, Jack Quinn and Sadie Quinn.
A celebration of life service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Emmaus Baptist Church in Dudley, with pastor Jim Willoughby officiating. Burial will be held privately at the family's request.
Dixie is survived by her daughters, Lois Quinn Lambert (Jim) and Doris Quinn Morales (Rafael); a special grandson, Jeff Quinn; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her furry companion, Peewee.
The Quinn family has entrusted Hope Valley Funeral Service and Cremation of 1246 Hobbton Highway, Clinton, with arrangements.
