James Arthur Wells, 74, Lockhaven Drive, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at home.
He is survived by his wife, Loraine Wells; six children, Linda Wells, Patricia Ruffin, James I. Wells, Shirley Snellings, Erica Williams and Renee Wells; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m., and the family will be present from 5 to 6 p.m., at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at 3 p.m. at New Daniels Chapel Church, 789 Daniel Chapel Road, Fremont, N.C., with bishop James Leftdwrige officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
