Spenser Terry Garrison, 16, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2014. His life was ended much too soon in a tragic moment, which will forever leave a void in the hearts of his family.
Spenser was born in Jonesboro, Ark., Nov. 1, 1997, to Terry M. Garrison of the Rosewood community and the late Sharon Morgan of Jonesboro, Ark.
Spenser is survived by his father, Terry M. Garrison; his twin sister, Alyssa A. Garrison; his grandparents, Glendora Garrison Haake and Michael Haake; his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Garrison; and cousin, Michael Garrison all of Goldsboro.
Also, several relatives in Arkansas and Texas survive Spenser.
Spenser will lie in state Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Rosewood First Baptist Church beginning at 5 p.m., with the family present to greet family and friends from 6 to 7 p.m. A service celebrating his life will follow in the sanctuary at 7 p.m., with Dr. Mike Collier and Donna Little officiating.
