Harold James "Jim" Schneck, 78, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at the Brian Center.
Jim was born in Chicago, Ill., Sept. 7, 1935, to the late William and Mona Surpinski Schneck. He was married to the late Betty Jane McManus Schneck.
Jim served his country in the United States Air Force.
He owned and operated Goldsboro Mobile Home Supply.
A service celebrating Jim's life will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at noon in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with pastor Andy Stovall officiating.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Sonya Rhodes and husband, Philip, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Michael Schneck of Georgia, Sarah Rhodes and fiancé, Blake Holder, P.J. Rhodes, Mary-Beth Rhodes, Hannah Rhodes and Karrigann Rhodes of Goldsboro; great-grandson, Landon Schneck of Georgia; and sister, Donna Davidson of Wisconsin.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Schneck, and a grandson, Zachary Rhodes.
