SELMA -- Barbara Owens Webster, 72, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield.
Born Oct. 1, 1941, in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late James Clifton and Ruth Price Owens.
Barbara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints.
She also owned and operated Webster's Income Tax in Smithfield for more than 26 years.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Entombment will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her husband, Harold Webster of Selma; sons, Adam Webster and wife, Ashley, of Kenly and Philip Webster and wife, Catherine, of Smithfield; daughters, Jennifer Layton and husband, Jon, and Becky Wall and husband, Joey, all of Kenly; brother, Jimmy Owens and wife, Patsy, of Black Creeck; sisters, Joan Comer and husband, Jeral, of Pikeville and Peggy Benton and husband, Carl, of Fremont; and 10 grandchildren.
