JAMES E. WADDELL

DUDLEY -- James Earl Waddell, 43, passed away Sunday evening at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
He was the son of David Earl Waddell of Selma and the late Lorie Wilson, and was the husband of Tracy Lynn Waddell.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steven Walker officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to his father and wife, Mr. Waddell is survived by a son, James Payne Waddell of Angier; a daughter, Dakota Hope Waddell of Garner; stepdaughters, Brianna Nicole and Savana Marie Donithan both of Dudley; a brother, Lee Richmond Waddell of Selma; a sister, Jerry Sissy Braswell and husband, Buddy, of Selma; a special nephew, Timothy Earl Waddell and fianceé, Starla Carol Stokes, of Dudley; a grandchild (on the way), Abigail Hope Waddell; three nephews; a niece; and special friends, the Rev. Steven Walker and Harvey Raynor.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by a brother, David Earl Waddell Jr.
