PENNY SULLIVAN

Pinina "Penny" Hill Sullivan, 90, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

Penny was born in Wayne County May 3, 1923, to the late Frank and Mamie Elizabeth Land Hill. She was married to the late Britt Benjamin Sullivan, who passed away June 19, 1985.

Penny had worked as a sales associate with both the Remnant Shop and the Cloth Barn in Goldsboro.

She also assisted her husband with his farm in the Saulston community.

Penny was a member of Saulston United Methodist Church.

She was the kindest and most loving mother and grandmother, and was a friend to everyone. She will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 16, 2013, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnny Sasser officiating. Interment will be Monday, June 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston, N.C.

Penny is survived by her son, Ben Sullivan of Goldsboro; daughter, Cornelia Langdon of Peachtree City, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Allie Sullivan.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.

The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at her home.
