MOUNT OLIVE -- Joyce Jones Reaves passed away Monday, June 10, 2013.
Mrs. Reaves, 91, N. Southerland St., Mount Olive, was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Olive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Reaves; her parents, Willie and Katie Godwin Jones; and sister, Edna J. Brogden.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn R. Barton of New Bern; a son, Clyde R. Reaves Jr. and his wife, Gail, of Dudley; and two grandchildren, Heather Barton of Los Angeles, Calif., and Tab Barton of Atlantic Beach.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Dennis Atwood, with burial following in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour before the service.
Flowers are welcome and for those wishing to make a memorial gift, the charity of one's choice would be appropriate.
