MOUNT OLIVE -- Louise Faircloth Turner, 84, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Genesis Health Care of Mount Olive.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 28, at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with Dr. Greg Day officiating, followed by burial in Calypso Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Daughter of the late Alex and Mary Gautier Faircloth, and the widow of J. R. Turner, she was a member of Calypso Baptist Church.
She was a retired beautician, and had been a longtime resident of Calypso, though in recent years she had resided with her daughter and son-in-law and in local nursing facilities.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy T. and Earl Grimes of Mount Olive; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald G. and Brenda Turner of Rocky Mount and Jimmy and Linda Turner of Moss Hill; a sister, Fannie Robbins of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren, Anthony Grimes and wife, Kimberly, Bridgette Bass and husband, Kenny, Brent Turner and Crystal Crowder and husband, Scott; and 10 great-grandchildren.
