Sam T. Williams, 64, 600 S. Oleander Ave., died Monday at the VA Medical Center in Durham.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday at White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2261 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville.
Burial followed in the Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Dudley. A public viewing was held Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, mother and four children.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
