A "Friend of Bill W." went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2013. Always a quiet man, he went peacefully at home. Thomas battled with pain and depression all his life, so we welcome his graduation to Glory.
All services will be held privately.
He leaves behind his wife Lynne Kirkup; daughters, Heather Wellman, Diane Pinkham and Jessica Cerny of Goldsboro and Chrissy Galloway of Beacon, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Shay Cerny, Nathan Cerny, Javen Wellman, Julien Wellman, Marlee Wellman and James Wellman; son-in-law, James Wellman; two brothers, Gary Kirkup and John Kirkup; three sisters, Jean Reinstedt, Judith Lenore and Donna Phelan; and Galloway grandchildren, TJ Buchman, John-John, Jamond, Lyric and Demetrius.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
