FRANCES STAFFORD AGNER

PIKEVILLE -- Frances Stafford Agner, 85, passed away on Friday at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Va.
Frances had been employed by the Department of Social Services in Virginia for many years. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Sorority. After moving to Pikeville, Frances attended Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Price-Crocker Cemetery in Pine Level with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of Christine Satterfield, 108 N. Goldsboro St., Pikeville.
Frances is survived by her husband, Tommy Agner.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Patrick Stafford.
