Ray King died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Olive. Interment will be at Carver Memorial Park.
He was born Oct. 23, 1946, to the late Douglas and Sallie King in Wayne County.
He is survived by three children.
Visitation will be tonight from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Inc.
