MOUNT OLIVE -- Stuart Kyle Grady, 30, passed away late Tuesday evening, Feb. 5, at his home in Washington, where he had lived for the past four years. He was a native of the Beautancus community near Mount Olive.
A service of remembrance will be held today, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, with visitation afterwards. Friends and family are also being received at the home of Stuart's parents, 1434 Beautancus Road.
Stuart is survived by his mom and dad, Betty Lou and Steve Grady of Mount Olive; a brother, sister-in-law, and little niece, Stephen C. Grady Jr., Lauren Grady, and Savannah Grady of Kenansville; his maternal grandparents, Marvin and Zadie Belle Cotton of Calypso; and an extended family of caring individuals in Washington; and several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Paternal grandparents, James "Jim" and Mildred S. Grady, preceded Stuart in death.
