FAISON -- Melva O. Faison, 80, 138 Shine Road, died Saturday at Rex Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Burning Bush Holy Church, with the Rev. Orto Pickett officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Brinson Beamon, and the wife of Sameul Faison.
Seven children survive.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
