Justin "Travis" Lancaster, 25, was taken much too early from his family and friends on Wednesday night. He is in a much better place and is gone but not forgotten. Travis was a hard worker, employed with his brother at Flatworks Concrete, the Western Sizzlin' Steakhouse and the Longhorn Steakhouse.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Brother Thomas McLenden officiating. Family members will greet friends one hour prior to the graveside service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. After the services the family would thank you for respecting their privacy at the home.
Travis is survived by his mother, Carolyn Tipton Lancaster of the home; his father, Ricky Lee Lancaster of Dudley; a sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and Clint Thompson of Rosewood; a brother, Rick Lancaster Jr. and his fiancĂ(c)e, Oneyda of Saulston; his paternal grandparents, Rosalio and Etta Christine Velasquez of Dudley; two nephews, Tyler and Trevor Thompson of Rosewood; a special friend, "Tomaz" and a special canine, "Scooby."
