CHESTERFIELD, S.C. -- David McDuffie Jr., 564 Cherry St., formerly of Duplin County, died Tuesday at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, S.C.
Funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Faison Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with moderator James A. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Boykin Cemetery.
He was born March 24, 1937, to the late David McDuffie Sr. and Fannie Moss McDuffie, and was married to Dorothy Boykin McDuffie.
Six children survive.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home of Jessie and Sonya Boykin, 1887 Bowden Road in Warsaw, and the procession will line up there Sunday at noon in preparation for the funeral procession.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
