MOUNT OLIVE -- Charles L. Armwood, 126 E. Main St., died Aug. 8, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Waters officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County May 26, 1936, to the late Floyd and Marie Swinson Armwood ,and was married to Gloria Edwards Armwood.
Three daughters survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends at other times at the home.
Garris Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
