LOUISE R. MULINIX
April 4, 1920-July 31, 2012
Frances Louise Russell Mulinix, 92, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the home of her daughter.
Louise was born in Floyd County, Ga., April 4, 1920, to the late George M. Russell and Ruth Nicholson Russell. She was married to the late Joe Ben Mulinix.
Louise was employed for 21 years at Berry College in Floyd, Ga., and also had served as a dispatcher for the Atlanta Police Department.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Ellen M. Shipman and husband, John Peacock, of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Ann Medlock of Cave Spring, Ga.
In addition to her husband and parents, Louise was preceded in death by a brother, George Nicholson Russell, and her son, Joe Ben Mulinix Jr.
