SNOW HILL -- Rowena Coates Williams, 72, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. today, July 15, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at Pollock-Best Funeral Home.
A native of Wayne County, Rowena was a long time resident of the New Bern area where she was a member of Sherwood Forest Free Will Baptist Church and worked for Tryon Realty for many years. She very active in the New Bern Civic Theater and retired as manager of Servco.
Rowena is survived by her son, Todd Grady and wife, Delynn, of Goldsboro; daughter, Gina Oglesby and husband, Paul, of Seneca, S.C.; sister, Virginia Mason, of Oxford, Mass.; and brother, Everette Coates and wife, Joyce, of Mount Olive. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Orry Oglesby and Avery Holcombe, and husband, Jarrad, of Seneca, S.C., and several nieces and nephews.
