HAZEL ADDORIA EASTERLIN

Sept. 17, 1935-June 16, 2012

Hazel Addoria Easterlin of Goldsboro went to be with the Lord June 16, 2012.

She was born Sept. 17, 1935, in Goldsboro, the daughter of the late Carrie Dennis and Lloyd "Josh" Mitchell, and was the fourth of seven siblings.

Hazel is survived by her five children, Billie Rose Frazier of Goldsboro, Victoria S. Gilleland of Tucker, Ga., Kim Moses and her husband, Thomas Moses of Wilmington, Heather S. Preysz of her husband, Louis Preysz IV of Jacksonville, Fla., and Aubrey Easterlin III and his wife, Colleen Easterlin, of Denver, Colo.; her sister, Carolyn Menendez of Elizabethtown, Ky.; her brother, Douglas Mitchell of Pikeville; and her sisters-in-law, Jean and Nancy Mitchell of Goldsboro.

Known as "Granny Hazel" to her 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, she will always be loved and dearly missed.

Hazel requested that her ashes be scattered on the graves of her beloved parents at Patetown-Pelt Cemetery in Patetown, and that no formal service be held.

Professional, sympathetic and dignified service is entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro Inc.
