GRACE S. JACKSON

Grace Stewart Jackson, 88, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Family Cemetery in Coats.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Harnett County on Aug. 24, 1923, to the late Harry Elbert Stewart and Lula Holmes Stewart. She was married to the late Charlie Wilburn Jackson. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church and the adult Sunday school class. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughters, Janice Jackson White of Sioux City, Iowa, and Dorothy Lonergan and husband, Michael, of Bridgewater, Mass.; her sons, Johnnie Jackson and wife, Jo-Ann, of Goldsboro and Martin Jackson and wife, Susan, of Dudley; daughter-in-law, Karen Jackson of Topsail Island; brother-in-law, Les-Jay Jackson and wife, Lillian; sister-in-law, Harriett Gupton and sister-in-law, Ruby Jackson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alysia Stewart, Noelle Johnson, Rachel Carter, Jennifer Galyon, Tanya Ener, Shannon Wood, Jeffrey Lonergan, Kyle Lonergan, Tara Grace Lonergan, Denise Lipscomb, T.J. Lipscomb, Crystal Jackson and Megan Jackson and her great-grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Kaitlyn Stewart, Katherine Wood, Christopher Wood, Haley Galyon, Hayley Jackson, Braydan Jackson, Savannah Lonergan and Carly Grace Lonergan and Reagan Carter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Warren Jackson; a brother, Leland Stewart; and her sisters, Jynell Byrd and Lula Mae Hobson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
