HELENA EVINES PARKER

Helena Evines Parker passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Wrillie and Pearl Addis Battle Evines.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012, at Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Davis officiating.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her children, Cynthia Townsend (Tony), Dr. Delano Parker (Christine), DarcyHelena Greene (Derwin), Melvina Parker-Macon (Herbert) and Dweller Parker (Doris); grandchildren, Lefael and Shanita Townsend, Jessica Miranda, Dominick, Marquise Dweller Jr. and Drake Parker and Delronzo Macon; and great-grandchildren, Victoria Adams, Sophia Miranda, Jaquez and Jasiah Macon; and brothers, Linwood (Ester) and Rollie Evines.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, retired Air Force Master Sgt. Melvin Mitchell Parker, and her sons, Randy and Bruno Parker.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
