MARIE M. JONES
Marie Mitchell Jones of 1405 Poplar St. died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday at noon at Bear Creek Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb St., with the Rev. Harold Warren officiating. Mrs. Jones will lie in state today from 2-7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Her final resting place will be at Hooks Grove Church Cemetery in Pikeville.
Fond memories will be cherished by her children, Carolyn Core of Goldsboro, Altphene Jones of Pikeville, Joyce Jones of Raleigh, Patricia Parker of Greensboro, Alicia Jones of Riverdale, Md., Ronnie Jones of Camp Springs, Md., and Anthony Jones of Washington, D.C.
The family will receive friends at 110 Sumpter Drive.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
