RALEIGH -- E. Ray Dixon, 83, formerly of Beautancus, died Monday night.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church near Mount Olive, with the Rev. Travis Tobin officiating. Burial will at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was son of the late Everett J. and Flora Swinson Dixon. He was married to Janet Bell Dixon.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be at Tyndall's Funeral Home in Mount Olive from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
