Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" Albright, 42, died Thursday.
A service to celebrate the life of Jeff will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Southern Wayne High School Gymnasium with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating. Family members will greet friends Tuesday evening at the Faison Baptist Church from 6 until 8 p.m.
Born in York, Pa., he was the son of Paula Bahn of Faison and the late Reginald Bahn. Jeff was a member of the Faison Baptist Church and an EMT-I with the Duplin County EMS. He was a member of the Faison Fire and Rescue and a former member of Dudley Volunteer Fire Department. He was currently serving as the president of the Duplin County Rescue Association, was an instructor and former rescue chief. Jeff was awarded the Faison Rescue Person of the Year several times, was the Warsaw Rotary Club's Rescue Person of the Year and was the first recipient of the Hiram Brinson Award.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his wife, Gina Paterniti Albright; his children, Abby Albright of Warsaw, Seth Albright and Sadie Albright both of the home; and his sister, Brandie Bahn of Faison.
