SEAN WAYNE JONES

CHAPEL HILL -- Sean Wayne Jones, 36, 131 Lady Bug Lane, Chapel Hill, died Thanksgiving morning in a single car accident in Chatham County.
Sean studied at the University of North Carolina, where he was a member of Sigma Chi. Sean also was an honor society student and baseball player at Swansboro High School, where he graduated in 1993.
Sean has been survived by his daughters, Kaitlyn and Caroline, and a wife, Angela.
Sean's parents were Rick and stepmother, Tammy Jones, of Hubert. Sean is also survived by a sister, Tina Dirksmeyer of MIssouri, and a brother, Ira R. Jones IV, of Richland.
His late mother, Patricia, his late grandfather and family were from Goldsboro.
Sean had been employed by Pentair Water Pool and Spa of Sanford, where he was the distribution supervisor. Sean also had been employed by Durham's Biomerieux and Performance of Chapel Hill.
A memorial is set for Sean for Dec. 10 at noon at Christ Church Southern Village in Chapel Hill.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up for Sean's two girls, Kaitlyn and Caroline, the S.W.J. Memorial Fund, BB&T, 0005107982215.
