DOUGLAS LEE PEELER

AUSTIN, Texas -- Douglas Lee Peeler passed away Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. after a short battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Shawn; and daughter, Lauren. He is also survived by his brother, Mickey, formerly of Goldsboro, and his wife, Judy.
Doug graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1967 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1971.
Virtually his entire career was spent as a self-employed fund raiser.
He was pre-deceased by his father, Delbert, in 1957 and his mother, Edythe, in 1990.
