Retired Goldsboro Police Capt. Ottiwell Stonewall Coor Jr. passed away Tuesday evening, June 14, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Services will be held by the graveside Friday, June 17, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Coor was born in Wayne County Sept. 21, 1926, to the late Ottiwell S. Coor Sr. and Pauline Daly Coor.
He was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Boyette Coor; two sons, Tony Coor and wife, Ann, of Fuquay-Varina and Thomas Coor and wife, Tracy, of Mount Olive; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Coor was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Coor Kornegay.
