HUGH ALLEN BROWN
June 3, 1938-June 15, 2011
Retired Air Force Technical Sgt. Hugh Allen Brown, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at his home.
Hugh was born in Iredell County June 3, 1938, to the late Richard Brown and Blanche Shook Brown.
He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Preston Heath and the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating. The interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors.
Hugh is survived by his wife, Dora Strickland Brown; his daughter, Tereasa Segraves and husband, Thom, of LaGrange; his son, Hugh Allen Brown II and wife, Beverly, of Pink Hill; his grandchildren, Christina and Heather Segraves of LaGrange, Trey Brown and wife, Michele, of Goldsboro and Holly and Ricky Brown of Pink Hill; and his great-grandchildren, Destiny and Nevaeh Jackson and Preston Segraves all of LaGrange and Alicen Brown of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Mosier; his sister, Genelle Annas; and his brother, Edsel Brown.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 17, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
