ROACHEL JACKSON BOONE

Roachel Jackson Boone, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at the home of his daughter.
Jack was born in Cheraw, S.C., Dec. 5, 1925, to the late Sam Boone and Mamie Mills Boone.
He was a former member of Konnoak Baptist for 59 years, and a current member of Rosewood First Church.
Jack served his country in the Navy during World War II.
He was a Winston-Salem fireman for 31 years.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Konnoak Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Jack is survived by his daughters, Sherry Medlin and husband, Donnie, and LouAnne Price and husband, Doug; his son, Richard Boone and wife, Susan; his eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Branscome Boone, and his three brothers.
