WARSAW -- James R. Moore Sr., 237 Mooretown Lane, died Sunday at Carolina East Hospice Center.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Magnolia, with the Rev. Joseph E. Daniels Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery.
Born July 31, 1919, in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Isiah and Anna Taylor Moore, and husband of the late Eleanor Gavin Moore.
Seven children survive.
A wake will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the church.
The family will receive friends at this time, and at other times at the home of Margaret Williams, 2085 S. U.S. 117 in Warsaw.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
