MARGARET B. ROWE
PIKEVILLE -- Margaret Braswell Rowe, 77, of Airport Road passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Wilson Medical Center.
Mrs. Rowe is survived by her husband, Mervis Rowe; five sons, Billy Rowe, Gary Rowe and wife, Connie, Jerome Rowe and wife, Samantha, Ricky Rowe and wife, Janine, and Elvis Rowe; two daughters, Joyce Simms and Elaine Allen; one brother, James "Sang" Pettiway and wife, Anne Belle; one sister, Sarah Burns and husband, Lawrence; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John Thomas Rowe and Steven Rowe.
The family will receive friends daily at 100 Torhunta Drive, Goldsboro. Viewing will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home, 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Disciples of Christ Church in Faro where she was a member. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather at 100 Torhunta Drive, Goldsboro, in preparation for the 10 a.m. procession to the church.
