Rematha Hall Artis, of Pender Street, Fremont, departed this life on Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born June 5, 1947 in Wayne County.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist church in Fremont.
A viewing will be held today from 3 until 6 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations Inc., with family present to receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m.
Burial will follow at Forte Cemetery
She is survived by her mother, a son, two sisters, two brothers, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral cortege'.
E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations Inc. is serving the family.
