Ernestine Casey Lee, 81, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
Ernestine was born in Wayne County Jan. 29, 1929, to the late Benjamin Casey and Elizabeth Herring Casey.
She had been a member of Casey's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church for more than 70 years.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with pastor Alan Lamm officiating.
Ernestine is survived by her husband, Billie Vaden Lee; her daughters, Donne Kay Lee of Goldsboro and Janice Maddox and husband, Kevin, of Goldsboro; her sons, Douglas C. Lee and wife, Diane, of Apex and Jerry Lee and wife, Susan, of Raleigh; her brother, Benjamin Casey of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; and her sister, Sarah Casey McCormack.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to 3HC at 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, or Casey's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at 4913 U.S. 70 east, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
