WILLIAM EDWARD PREAST

William Edward Preast, 81, passed away Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Preast was born in West Virginia May 14, 1929, to the late Gaymond Golden Preast and Norah Virginia Ewing Preast.
He was retired from the United States Air Force.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Stewart Smith officiating.
Mr. Preast is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hazel Mae Gray Preast; his sons, Marvin Edward Preast of Kissemmee, Fla., and Damon Lee Preast of Newport; his daughters, Carol Sue Augustus of North Pole, Alaska and Bonnie Jean Koylu of New Bern, N.C.; his brothers, Ralph Damon Preast of Russellville, W. Va., and Gaymond Golden Preast of Spokane, Wash.; his sister, Betty Jean Hahn of Bath, Maine; his 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rex F. Preast.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at Seymour Funeral Home.
