LaGRANGE -- Jerry Dean Boyette, 48, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Norma Walters and the Rev. Mary Kay Ward officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Jerry was born Oct. 20, 1961, in Lenoir County to Cecil Boyette of LaGrange and Eleanor "Tootsie" Herring of Mount Olive. Jerry graduated from East Duplin High School and for the past nine years worked with Guilford. Jerry had his private pilot license and enjoyed time spent flying, carpentry and working on old cars.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is survived by a son, Michael Boyette and wife, Tiffany, of Georgia; sister, Amelia Blizzard and husband, Thomas, of Mount Olive; companion, Jenny Weeks of Four Oaks; nephew, Seth Blizzard and wife, Elana; and two great-nieces, Ivey Blizzard and Emma Blizzard.
