MOUNT OLIVE -- Grover "G.B." Westbrook, 89, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010.
The funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 3162 Harper House Road in Four Oaks, N.C., 27524, with the Rev. Dick Lewis and the Rev. Tom Hoogeralnd officiating. Interment will be at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy R. Westbrook; daughters, Martha W. Flowers and husband, Phil, of Greenville, N.C., and Nancy W. Moore and husband, Gary, of Rosewood, N.C.; grandchildren, Aaron Flowers, Jordan Flowers and wife, Lyndi, and Donald Moore; a great-granddaughter, Abby Flowers; and a sister, Edna T. Westbrook of Four Oaks, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover B. and Lizzie T. Westbrook, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Seth and Ruth Westbrook and Ivan and Margaret Westbrook.
The family will receive friends at West and Dunn Funeral Home, 503 Raleigh St. in Newton Grove, N.C., 28336, Thursday, Oct. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.
