Russell Alan Reynolds, 57, of 278 Falling Creek Lane, Goldsboro, died Wednesday Sept. 29, at Kitty Askins.
Services will be private.
He was born Oct. 19, 1952, and was the son of the late Jay C. and June Fordyce Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn and Walter Fordyce and stepmother, Mae Reynolds. Raised in Florida, he moved to North Carolina over 20 years ago. He was a proud small business owner and operator of Reynolds Motor Company in Princeton. Mr. Reynolds followed NASCAR racing and college sports. His children were the love of his life. Russ's family wishes to thank Kitty Askins Hospice of Goldsboro and his many dear friends who have been so generous with their love and support for him.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Reynolds of Wilmington; son, Benjamin Reynolds of Florida; sisters, Karen Reynolds of Washington state, Sharon Reynolds of Virginia, Theresa Pendley of Florida; brother, Randy Reynolds of Florida; numerous friends, and his faithful canine companion, Hershey.
