TERESA CASEY THOMPSON

Teresa Casey Thompson, 47, of 4709 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs, died Tuesday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Lena Bruce Lanier Casey of Seven Springs and the late Ralph S. Casey, and the wife of the late Ricky Avon Thompson.
Teresa attended the Mt. Olive Church of God and the Mt. Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Hairr and the Rev. Jeff Dail officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.
In addition to her mother, Teresa is survived by her son, Randy Avon Thompson and wife, Chancey Price Thompson of Seven Springs; her daughter, Nita Thompson Jones and husband, Vance F. Jones Jr. of Kinston; her fiancé, Victor Darden of Seven Springs; a brother, Randall Casey of Seven Springs; a sister, Violet Ferrell of Seven Springs; four grandchildren, Abigail Thompson, Ricki Lane, Macey Thompson and Micheal Jones; and her faithful companion, “Angel.”
Family members will greet friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
