Clyde Elizabeth Brooks Letchworth, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
Clyde Elizabeth was born in Pitt County Oct. 15, 1926, to the late Clyde Brooks and Maybell Joyner Brooks.
She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at 7 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor John Hill and the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. The interment will be Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Hollywood Cemetery.
Clyde Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Walter D. Letchworth Jr.; her sons, Roger A. Letchworth of Goldsboro and Steven B. Letchworth and wife, Athena, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Brian Letchworth, Matthew Letchworth and Sara Letchworth; and her nieces, Peggy Dawson and Donnie Caroon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Mae Carraway.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church at 604 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at First Free Will Baptist Church, and at other times at 1817 W. New Hope Road, Goldsboro.
