BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Carolyn Frances Taylor Smiley, 55, formerly of Wayne County, died Saturday at Brooklyn VA Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Eureka, with the Rev. Retha Forte Hooper officiating. Burial will be in Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was the daughter of Eunice Taylor Smith and the late Charles Francis Coley.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 215-B Baker St. in Eureka, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
