MANHATTAN, N.Y. -- Richard Bass Jr., 60, 255 W. 114 St., formerly of Magnolia, died Sunday at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.
Born in Duplin Co., he was the son of the late Richard Sr. and Elizabeth Holmes Bass.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Charles Sampson, officiating. Burial will be in Middleton Cemetery in Kenansville.
Three sisters survive.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
