L.V. Jones, 74, Vinwood Avenue, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Jones was born Dec. 29, 1935, to the late Henry and Doshia Evans Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Vertia Murray Jones, three sons and a daughter.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
